Laura grew up on top of a drama studio, home to The Tarragindi Players, where she spent her childhood performing in plays year round. She then went on to become an assistant teacher there for the incomparable and beloved teacher, Beres Turner OAM.

Laura graduated from the University of Southern Queensland in 2011 with a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Theatre). She has trained in theatre, clown, character, physical comedy and mask at Ecole Philippe Gaulier and with the extraordinary teacher Giovanni Fusetti.

Laura is also a Laughter Care Specialist with The Humour Foundation. She visits aged care facilities weekly as Penny the Clown, aiming to improve wellbeing and connection with residents and staff through performance, music and storytelling.
