Shows and Events
The Beryls are Laura Trenerry & Patrick Dwyer - thespians, comedians, drag legends. Their debut show The Pageant is a character comedy that casts the audience as contestants in a children’s beauty pageant, hosted by demonic drag queen Victoria Beauvoir & her faithful chihuaua, Roger Seahorse. No strangers to scams and schemes, the duo are on a mission to bring beauty pageants to every Australian town.
The Beryls second show, Cattle Call, is a love letter to community theatre and follows Roger & Victoria as they move back to their hometown of Schlumpsville and hold open auditions for their debut stage play. Cattle Call is a riotous, surprising, chaotic hour of physical comedy. Cattle Call received rave reviews from media and audiences at Melbourne Fringe 2022 and the Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2023.
The Beryls
STICKYBEAK, a laugh-out-loud physical theatre comedy by The Beaks Theatre, took Melbourne Fringe by storm, winning BEST COMEDY and rave reviews. After a sold-out run at the 2024 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, this hit show is touring in 2025 and beyond.
